Safety and efficacy results from state-of-the-art biomaterials in the orthopedic field at the 22nd Annual Meeting of the EORS in Nantes, France 



AccelLAB presented its latest safety and efficacy results from state-of-the-art biomaterials in the orthopedic field at the 22nd Annual Meeting of the EORS in Nantes, France. Biomaterials such as silicate-substituted calcium phosphate bone graft substitutes and bioresorbable magnesium alloys were evaluated using our ovine critical size defect and mini-swine fracture repair models respectively.

AccelLAB scientific staff are co-authors on studies that were peer-reviewed for presentations:

  • Efficacy evaluation of resorbable magnesium  plates and screws using a miniswine maxillofacial fracture repair model (podium);
  • Efficacy of silicate-substituted phosphate with increased strut porosity as a standalone bone graft substitute and graft
    extender in an ovine critical defect model (poster)
